My Twin...
A sarcastic, intelligent, aristocratic genius, this one is just a little bit shorter than me, with jet black hair and steel blue eyes. She always has a smart quip ready in response to anything you might say, but she's not completely cold at heart. She's actually got a very warm, loving core... deep, DEEP inside her! But for all her cynicism, I know she loves me... why else would she dress up as the Phantom of the Opera (my love) for every night of tech week while she worked as a stage hand? This brilliant Shakespearean masterpiece is fabulous at writing, using accents, and pretty much any other creative skill. She is the rose of mine heart, and I shall treasure her for always.
Shining Knight...
This piece of my heart is a tall, handsome, blue-eyed guy with short fluffy brown hair. Never one to back down from an adventure, he's a fearless athlete - especially when it comes to water! But flip over your viewpoint, and he's a softy at heart who serves as a willing teddy bear for anyone who's hurt or sad or just needs a hug. That's doesn't mean he's not stubborn, though... he definitely is, especially when it comes to his beliefs. He's one of the strongest Christian youth I know, and he gives wise, godly advice to anyone who asks for his help. He's always ready to listen to anyone who will trust him with their problems, and his shoulder is always there to cry on. Or fall asleep on during long bus rides when a certain someone hasn't gotten enough sleep... haha. He's one of the sweetest, strongest guys I know, and I'm honored to call him one of my best friends.
Little Sis...
This girl is the closest I've ever gotten to having a real sibling - we fight, we make up, we laugh, we cry, we pout, we hug... and that's just in half an hour! Talking to her is an indispensable part of my day, and I can't imagine life without her. She's only a couple years younger than I am, but I call her my little sis because of the time that we went to Forest Home together for a week. I got a ride up there with her and her mom, so people already in line saw me getting out of her car and automatically assumed we were family. It wasn't until halfway through the week that we found out that they thought we were sisters! But she really is like a sister to me, and I love her EVER so dearly! With her crazy, curly strawberry blonde hair and her entrancing color-changing (grey, blue, grey-blue, green, hazel) eyes, my lil sis is an absolutely fabulous, gorgeous, sarcastic, funny, amazing person!
Big Brother...
The next piece of my heart that I'm going to introduce you to is a tall, handsome young man with bright blue eyes, curly dark blonde hair (that he insists is brown), and the most beautiful smile around. I call him big brother because that's what he is to all of his friends. Like the time when we went on senior trip, and his female friends' moms told him "Watch out for our girls!" and he took it completely literally. He spent an entire day in a group with one of those girls trying to protect her from herself and her overly enthusiastic boyfriend and having a miserable time while all of his other friends were in a different group hanging out and having a blast - but that's just who he is. If someone he cares about is in what he considers danger, or if they're hanging alone, he won't rest until they're back in safety or they've become a part of the group. Oh, and besides his brotherly awesomeness, he is also the most talented young singer I have ever heard. He's a great actor and dancer too - in fact, most people think of him as "Mr. Drama" before they consider his big brother attributes! He is an individual that I am proud and honored to call one of my best friends.
Miss Perfect...
The first part of my universe that I'll introduce you to is a gorgeous young woman whom I like to refer to as Miss Perfect. It's not meant in a snooty way - she's anything but snooty! But she always does the right thing, always knows what to do and say, she was valedictorian, she got a full ride for all four years of college... yup. She's everything I could ever hope to be. Yet she still stays as humble as a hobo! No idea how she does it. She's kind of short (though not as short as I am, mind you!), with curly brown hair, dancing blue eyes, an adorable smile, and a mischievous laugh. She's the oldest in her family, so she always watches out for everyone... including all of her friends at school, the loners in the corner, the weirdos that no one knows, etc. And even though she's got incredible grades and a great vocabulary and all of that, she still knows how to have fun, go crazy, and look stupid in the name of enthusiasm! I've known her for ten years so far, and I can't wait to live out the rest of my life with this beautiful, goofy, intelligent, loving, incredible friend of mine!
Why Falkyn's 42?
Falkyn is my favorite nickname. It's what a bunch of third-and-fourth graders called me for a week at Forest Home Camp... a.k.a. the best place in the entire universe! Forty-two is a Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy reference. That number is said to be the answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe, and everything - so this blog is all about my life, universe, and everything! Enjoy!
